Job DescriptionManaging Director
As a Managing Director at NEFN, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and supporting a team of financial representatives, guiding them through every stage of their career. This position is ideal for leaders committed to empowering others and actively contributing to the firm’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Mentorship: Identify, recruit, and develop financial representative candidates within NEFN’s target markets, fostering a supportive environment where team members can thrive.
- Training & Development: Lead training programs that cover essential skills, product knowledge, and best practices, equipping team members with the resources they need to build successful practices.
- Field Support: Conduct regular joint fieldwork to develop agents’ prospecting, selling, and referral skills, ensuring consistent growth in real-world settings.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the General Agent to explore new markets and implement programs that expand NEFN’s reach and impact.
- Progress Monitoring: Maintain regular reporting and communicate team results, working to ensure agent retention and success across the board.
Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Professional designation such as CLU, ChFC, or CFP
- NASD Series 6, 7, and 24 licenses preferred
- 4-6 years of insurance industry sales experience, including 3-5 years in field management or agency distribution
- Proven track record in firm building, recruitment, and sales management

Job DescriptionManaging Associate
The role of a Managing Associate offers a balanced blend of personal production, recruitment, and mentorship. Managing Associates support NEFN’s growth by developing new representatives and fostering relationships that reinforce the firm’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Production: Drive firm growth by meeting a recruitment goal of at least three new hires per year and achieving high standards of personal production.
- Market Expansion: Partner with the Managing Director to identify target markets and create training programs that meet evolving industry needs.
- Mentorship & Relationship Development: Provide individualized mentorship, adapting your coaching style to suit each team member’s unique strengths and experience.
- Leadership Development: Engage in ongoing company-sponsored leadership training to prepare for advancing responsibilities in a dynamic professional environment.
